Nina Chen
Born 1980 in Hubei Province, China, Nina Chen graduated in 2003 from Hubei Normal University with a major in Fine Arts. She was an art teacher in Hubei Province from 2004 to 2006 before relocating to Shanghai.
In Shanghai Nina worked as the chief designer in an advertising company from 2006 to 2007 and later became the director of design and photography in an international art center from 2007 to 2010. She currently works as a freelance photographer for commercial projects and turns her focuses more towards her own art projects.
Her most recent exhibitions include group shows at the Curator’s Voice art projects, Miami, USA (2011), River South Art Center, Shanghai (2011), The Source, Shanghai (2011), China Pingyao International Photography Festival (2010,2009) among others.
