“When I observe my works from the starting point of individual space, I feel series explores the misplacement of non-physical / untangeable verses the physical / tangeable space. In terms of the images, space, be it mental or physical, is personal and private, and therefore should never be violated. Interestingly however, is the development of internet technology, which has greatly transformed a traditional sense of privacy. The boundaries of public verses private space are now blurred. You can release your diary on the blog and share your secrets with strangers or upload your schedule on a microblog and publish your daily acitivies for the world to read. I find this open invasion of privacy very interesting to explore.”
