"..My works expose and explore a tension between our society’s ideologies and its operating systems.
Most of this women i paint in my works are found images from the banal sites. They are plastic, seductive, performing all the time to entertain male
audience.
I wanted to make these familiar women more than just sexual objects symbolizing social and artistic progress; I wanted to give them a life away
from the male gaze, make an environment for them and also become them.
Creating an alternative to the traditional exhibition. My works weave a loosely connected web of references, adopting and reworking stylized modes of representation in order to set up pictorial
tensions that explore individuality versus collectivism and vernacular idioms against global
culture.
My continual interest has been in the embodiment of the creative individual, explored through paintings, sculpture, photography and films.."
