Maya Kramer
Born in the United States, Maya Kramer obtained her BFA at Maryland Institute College of Art after which she worked in the curatorial department of The Solomon R. Guggenheim, New York for three years. In 2003 she received the Jacob K. Javits Fellowship following with her MFA in 2006 from Hunter College, New York. Kramer completed a residency at the Truecolor Museum in Suzhou in 2009 and has since been based in Shanghai.
Her most recent exhibitions include; The Comfortable Auction, Shanghai Gallery of Art (Shanghai, 2011), Parallel Worlds, Refracted Realities, OV Gallery (Shanghai, 2011), There is Nothing You Can Measure Anymore, Aike Gallery (Shanghai, 2010), Robert Wilson’s Watermill Benefit, Watermill (NYC, 2010), Double Infinity, Van Abbe Museum Holland / Arthub Asia (Shanghai, 2010), From Where It Springs, Truecolor Museum (Suzhou, 2009), among others.
